EVIDENCE-BASED CLINICAL PRACTICE GUIDELINE FOR DEPRESCRIBING OPIOID ANALGESICS
A multidisiplinary guideline development group, led by researchers at the University of Sydney have developed an evidence-based clinical practice guideline for deprescribing opioid analgesics.
Public consultation was conducted for a period of 60 days and is now closed.
(Public consultation period: Wednesday 2nd February 2022 - Sunday 3rd April 2022)
The guideline recommendations were approved by the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) on 14 September 2022 under section 14A of the National Health and Medical
Research Council Act 1992.
